I'm Back!
Obviously my plan to keep up an online journal thoughout my pregnancy didn't work out very well. I've decided to try again. No, not the "pregnant" part...just the blog part. :)
Ryan was born Aug. 17, his due date, at 7 lbs. 11.5 oz. He'll be 6 months old in just over a week! Hard to believe he's growing so fast. He's been trying to figure out how to crawl. He can drag himself around with his arms while pushing with his toes, and sometimes gets up on hands and knees but then can't figure out how to make that work. It won't be long, though!
Emmy and Allie are both doing great as well, although all 3 kids have been sick the past couple days, and are still running fevers this morning. That means no school again for Emily!
It is snowing here today. We haven't had much snow this winter, which is the 3rd winter in a row light on snow. The last year we had any significant snow was the winter Allie was a baby, 2002-2003. I have a picture of her sitting in the snow in her snowsuit at about 9 months old. I was surprised by the snow this morning. I usually pay attention to weather forecasts, and last time I checked just 2 days ago, there was no snow in the forecast at all. What a surprise. They're now saying 1-2 inches, but we'll see.
